On Second Life, how do I change it to show "Adult" content?

I am 27 years old and therefore more than eligible to see adult content/purchase adult clothing etc in the stores, however, I am new to the game and cant seem to find the option to change this.

Could someone please explain (in really simple terms) how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

    It is a two-fold process.

First you need to verify through Linden Labs itself. You can do this by having payment information on file (PIOF) or by age-verifying using the Aristotle process. The payment information on file is as simple as going to your Account--Update Billing Info--Update Credit Card Info.

Aristotle verification doesn't require you to share your credit card information but the information you provided must match the information in your public records such as SS#, passport number, etc. Here is the link for that: https://secure-web28.secondlife.com/my/account/ver...

The second part of the process involves logging into SL on a newer viewer such as 1.23. Since you are new to SL, I'm betting that you already are using that viewer but just in case you aren't, here is a link to find it: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Old_versions (it has the new versions too!)

After ensuring that you are using a 1.23 version, open your SL viewer and go to Edit--Preferences--General. Check the PG, Mature, and Adult content boxes. Also check that you want to see Adult content in the Search window.

    Good luck!
