Good is God's will being done. Bad is being a slave to sin.
Do you not know that the unrighteous (that's sinful people) will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators (people who indulge in unlawful sexual intercourse outside of marriage), nor idolaters (that's much more than people who worship a false god, because a person can make an idol out of anything or anyone, and not even know it. Colossians 3:5 even says that covetousness is idolatry because that's worshipping riches), nor adulterers (a person who is unfaithful to their marriage partner), nor homosexuals, nor sodomites (that's another name for homosexuals, an abuser of one's self with mankind, one who lies with a male as with a female), nor thieves (that's not only people who steal things, but the name is also transferred to false teachers, who do not care to instruct people, but abuse their confidence for their own gain), nor covetous (people eager to have more especially what belongs to others, greedy of gain), nor drunkards, nor revilers (people who use abusive language in speaking to or about others), nor extortioners (that's like swindlers, cheaters) will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 6:9,10) ~ That is, of course, unless they repent, like I did.
In the book of Revelation, God says, "He who overcomes (that's of Christians who hold fast their faith even unto death against the power of their foes, and temptations and persecutions) shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly (that's timid or fearful people, and you can't be a coward if you're going to truly follow the Lord Jesus Christ because most people are not going to like you for doing it. That's because most people are not going to heaven, explained by Jesus in Matthew 7:13,14. Jesus also pointed out that some people have the devil as their father and they act like him. He was a murderer from the beginning, found in John 8:44. But you shouldn't be a coward in regards to what other people might want to do to you. So be strong in the faith.) Again, the cowardly, unbelieving (that's faithless or unfaithful people), abominable (that's people full of hate), murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers (people who prepare or use magical remedies), idolaters, and all liars (or deceitful people) shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone." (Rev. 21:7,8) ~ So if you are bound up with being a liar or sexually immoral, then you will be right there with the murderers who will burn in the lake of fire, unless you repent.
Jesus said, "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders (The Greek word also means "slaughter" and that is the killing of people in large numbers, as in battle), adulteries, fornications (The Greek word is porneia and it means illicit sexual intercourse, homosexuality, lesbianism, intercourse with animals, intercourse with close relatives), thefts, false witness, blasphemies (slander, speech injurious to another's good name). These are the things which defile a man." (Matthew 15:19,20)
Now for a bigger list of sins that will make you die spiritually, then take a look at Romans 1:29-32 and Galatians 5:19-21 and make sure that you are not bound up with nor practice any of them.
And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh (destroyed its power utterly) with its passions (affections) and desires (lusts, cravings, longings, desires for what is forbidden) (Galatians 5:24). ~ That means we are not to even desire to sin.
He who sins is of the devil. (1 John 3:8) ~ That is talking about habitually sinful conduct, because that chapter is talking about what one practices. If you slip up and stumble, He will forgive you if you confess to Him and ask for forgiveness, because He is faithful and just to forgive you (1 John 1:9). But in order to rightfully claim 1 John 1:9, you must be doing the conditions found in 1:6,7. You must not be walking in darkness (practicing sin). You must be walking in the light. You can't be bound up in sin, and then just confess those sins you are a slave to, and get forgiveness. It does not work that way.

Some individuals do not forget Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" to be a suggestion album, the suggestion being the holiday-up of situated relationships and the begin of latest ones. Jethro Tull ~ "War Child" It was once a re-operating of the prior album "Passion Play", and was once supposed to be the soundtrack to a movie. The fundamental suggestion is that a younger ballet dancer, who's pregnant, is killed in an twist of fate, after which her soul is fought over by means of Heaven and Hell. The improved remastered version makes fairly extra feel, considering that of the inclusion of further songs. I have five different absolute favorite suggestion albums, however I've no notion what the principles have been! Mike Oldfield's :~ "Tubular Bells" ; "Hergest Ridge" ; "Ommadawn" ; "Incantations" ; "Platinum" And I additionally love those :~ Jethro Tull ~ "Songs from the Wood" Pink Floyd ~ "The Dark Side of the Moon" Pink Floyd ~ "Wish You Were Here" The Beatles ~ "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" I realize, I realize, however I've by no means been well with singular favourites!

To know what is good for an electronic item like say TV, you have to ask its manufacturer / inventor / creator. He is the only person who can say what is good for the TV and what is bad...So what the Manufacturer does? He writes an instruction manual.
Similarly to know what is good for Humans you have to turn towards his manufacturer / Creator. God Almighty.. And God has written several instruction Manuals from time to time like the Zubur, Torah, Ingeel (Bible) and his Last and final instruction manual is the Quran.
So to know Good ask your lord

Here is a commentary on that amazing quality when put in action in many ways that is greater than righteousness---One can be selfrighteous where as goodness practiced has to be powerfully positive in action and thinking~!
*** it-1 p. 986 Goodness ***
The quality or state of being good; moral excellence; virtue. Goodness is solid through and through, with no badness or rottenness. It is a positive quality and expresses itself in the performance of good and beneficial acts toward others. The most common words for “good” in the Bible are the Hebrew tohv and the Greek a‧ga‧thos′; a‧ga‧thos′ is usually used in a moral or religious sense.
Jehovah’s Goodness. Jehovah God is good in the absolute and consummate sense. The Scriptures say: “Good and upright is Jehovah” (Ps 25:8), and they exclaim: “O how great his goodness is!” (Zec 9:17) Jesus Christ, though he had this quality of moral excellence, would not accept “Good” as a title, saying to one who addressed him as “Good Teacher”: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.” (Mr 10:17, 18) He thus recognized Jehovah as the ultimate standard of what is good.
--When Moses asked to see His glory, Jehovah replied: “I myself shall cause all my goodness to pass before your face, and I will declare the name of Jehovah before you.” Jehovah screened Moses from looking upon his face, but as he passed by (evidently by means of his angelic representative [Ac 7:53]) he declared to Moses: “Jehovah, Jehovah, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving-kindness and truth, preserving loving-kindness for thousands, pardoning error and transgression and sin, but by no means will he give exemption from punishment.”—Ex 33:18, 19, 22; 34:6, 7.
--Here goodness is seen to be a quality that involves mercy, loving-kindness, and truth but does not condone or cooperate in any way with badness. On this basis David could pray to Jehovah to forgive his sins ‘for the sake of Jehovah’s goodness.’ (Ps 25:7) Jehovah’s goodness, as well as his love, was involved in the giving of his Son as a sacrifice for sins. By this he provided a means for helping those who would want that which is truly good, and at the same time he condemned badness and laid the basis for fully satisfying justice and righteousness.—Ro 3:23-26.
A Fruit of the Spirit. Goodness is a fruit of God’s spirit and of the light from his Word of truth. (Ga 5:22; Eph 5:9) It is to be cultivated by the Christian. Obedience to Jehovah’s commands develops goodness; no man has goodness on his own merit. (Ro 7:18) The psalmist appeals to God as the Source of goodness: “Teach me goodness, sensibleness and knowledge themselves, for in your commandments I have exercised faith,” and, “You are good and are doing good. Teach me your regulations.”—Ps 119:66, 68.
