Birthday Party Gift Bag Ideas?

My daughter is having a bowling party for her 11th birthday. The guests will be boys and girls and will range in ages from 6 to 14. Any ideas for "affordable" gift bags?

Because the ages range so much (6-14) then i would just keep it simple so everyone gets the same gift bag, otherwise you would have to really spend some money to hit every ones age interests. I would just put in some candy, gum, balloons, chap stick, pencils and maybe go to McDonald's and pick up a few gift books to put $5 or so in every ones bag, or talk to the bowling alley about gift books. As i said it really depends what you want to spend if you want to seperate the boy bags from the girls buy differnt color bags and for the girls keep with all of the above but add in hair ties, lip gloss, costume jewelery, combs, scents. For boys there not much besides temp tatooes or sports game cards.

Well, my step daughter, had a mall hunting party for her 11th. Since her parents are divorced, she has four birthday parties. 2 for family, Dads side and Moms side. 2 for friends. Her friends from Sport Teams, Extra Curricular, etc and her friends that missed the other party goes to her moms house. Her friends from school, go to my house. Her mom and step father and 3 step brothers, threw a spa party. For us, it was expensive. I had $250 gift bags worth of stuff and my step daughter had 30 guests. Yes, thats right. I spent $7,500, just for the gift bags.

I DIDNT DO THIS THINGS, BUT IF I WOULD HOST A BOWLING PARTY, THESE WOULD BE MY GIFT BAGS!!!!

    1. Glitter Bouncy Ball

    2. 2 packs of gum

    3. A gift card to a Ritas (Ice cream shop)

    4. A surprise gift

    5. Candy with a Big sized Lollipop

    6. mini toys

    7. A board game

    8. A mini bowling game. Small Pins, small balls.

the kids like all that little crappy stuff to play with and you didn't spend a lot so you don't care if what happens to it after a few weeks. Give all the kids the same stuff. Hand everyone their bags as they leave out the door, not before. Especially if you're giving kazoo's or something noisy! LOL

Check with the bowling facility. My nephew had a bowling party last year and the bowling alley actually provided gift bags for the kids. There was a computer CD game in there, pencils, bowling temporary tattoos, and a ticket for a free game of bowling.

Include a couple of balloons in there. At any age, who doesn't like balloons? If you put a couple of those crazy ones in there (punch balloons, weird shapes) it will be a fun bag.

I can almost guarantee you that as soon as you hand them out the first thing you are going to see are a bunch of fun balloons hanging out of everyone mouth.

    They're irresistible.
