I'm very very thin, I'm a guy and 17 years old and wear girls jeans cos they fit me better than the boy department lol .. I'm a 26 inch waist and 31 hips.
My diet is very restricted but I'm never hungry and I always have bags of energy.
I once read a book called the secrets of thin people and it mentioned 'grazing' as a lifestyle. I thought, well may as well try it ... and I went from a girls size 10 to a 6 in almost no time at all. (I live in england btw)
Grazing is defined by having 6 - 7 small meals per day and as you are constantly eating low fat things throughout the day, your metabolism is ALWAYS working and will never stop so weight loss will always happen.
A typical day:
one glass of warm water and lemon -- AN ABSOLUTE MUST. This helps you drop an extra 2lbs per week, trust me!!!!
10 mins later after drinking the lemon water (10 mins minimum as it needs to be seperate, have breakfast)
breakfast - 45g porridge oats with semi skimmed milk - at 9.00 am
morning snack - an apple - at 11.00 am
a medium sized ham salad sandwich on brown bread - 12.30 pm
a non fat yogurt - 2.30
dinner - lean, grilled fish or chicken with lots of veggies and new potatoes - 6 pm
evening snack - low fat rice cakes or dried fruit - 7.30 pm
I know this may seem like a lot of food, but remember it is ALL low fat and that day amounts to 1000 - 1100 calories which is quite little to be honest.
A healthy diet is all about NOT restricting yourself and grazing works wonders for me :)
of course drink 2 litres of water throughout the day and an hour of exercise every other day is the healthiest thing in the world.

Hi, I uderstand you are having the same big problem as my dear friend. As the matter a fact, she has posted an answer here somewhere a few days ago, but I seem unable to find it now (sorry :( Doesn't matter, she was talking about this diet solution that gets her some great results. I mean, she has already lost almost 40 pounds! I'll post you this program, maybe it's what you're looking for so check it out. Hope this helps... Good luck!
