Are you going to the Mardi Gras 2010?
I have not been since the 80's ! I was married there in the mid 70's and most of my ex- in- laws are still there since Katrina happened . I have wondered if it is as good as it used to be - any go every year ppl out there ?

Yes it's going to be Great this year, historically when the economy is poor, Mardi Gras is bigger and better than normal years. Why? people who have cut back during the year will "not" be so tight when it comes to spending on throws, as it's one thing that they want to go all out on. One day that you can have fun and not think about your bills, the economy or anything but having fun.

Yes. It is as good as it used to be. This year is supposed to be the most memorable in history. That is because of the saints. There is a parade on tuesday evening with all the saints players in it. It is a dedication to the saints for an extraordinary season! This will go on win or lose!
