Geico Home Insurance: How can I find out its insurance rating?
I'm thinking of switching from a known -- State Farm -- to Geico for my homeowners coverage. The cost is literally 1/3rd less with better coverage. However, I can't google a rating for Geico's strength. Anyone know how to find it?
Would Geico Homeowner Insurance be the same as Geico Car Insurance (allegedly A++)? Same company, after all . . .
Interestingly, ConsumerReports.org, to which I subscribe, did not even list Geico as a homeowner insurance company in its September 2009 edition. Gave me pause to reconsider . . .

You go to a rating site like AM Best.
BTW, it's rated A++ XV which is as good, and as big, as it gets.

If you feel that Geico - can't meet your homeowner needs at the price they quoted, pay more some where else.
