question about warrants?

Is there a web site a person can go on to see if he or she has a warrant for arrest?

    Depends where you live. Some agencies do post a list of active warrants on the agency's web site. Others do not, either because they do not have the budget for the computer and web site or they prefer to keep the list to themselves.

    That is an interesting question. A long time ago I had a job that fixed the machine that held all of the cards of people with warrants at a big city police station. I did not think that I had any against me but asked the operator of the machine if she would check me out for warrants. She said that she could but if she found one then she have would arrest me. I politely declined and then polished up her machine

  • It depends on the state but go to yahoo and look up "your state, circuit court access. In wisconsin we can look up anyone's record on that site. Hope this helps!
