Do I need to put in much effort to raise GT Score?

Ok, I am working toward a BA/MAcc "a dual bachelo/master degree in Bus Administration and Masters of Accounting respectively. My reserve retention NCO is going to get my packet ready for direct commission; however, my gt score is 107 and it needs to be 110. I took this test as a junior in high school when I didn't care about school and did not prepare at all. Now, I am a much better writer and scholar. I'm in my senior year with a 3.9. at a good Bus. school. Does anyone think I should waste money and time preparing to raise it. Or should those 3 points come easy?

Most Post have asvab class's you can take, that are designed specifically to raise the GT score.

You might want to go to the education center and ask about them, to at least talk to who ever teaches the course and see what material is covered.

Maybe take a practice test if they have them

That way , you can gage what your GT score might be, before taking the asvab or spending time, directly trying to improve your GT score.

  • Agreed with jeeper, taking a practice exam can't hurt anything and won't take much time. Though I don't think I'd sweat it too much. Don't forget arithmetic reasoning is also included in equating your GT score, in case you may be a bit rusty with word problems.
