If Shane Mosely beats Mayweather, where does that put HIM all-time?
Everyone has been going back and forth about Manny and Floyd and where they rank all-time, etc.
What if Mosely beats the best or second best fighter of this decade? Where does he then rank all-time. P4P, 147 and 135?
I already have him as one of the top 3-4 lightweights in history, he was one of the top 5 of the 90's and maybe the 00s, in my opinion.
Thoughts?

It will improve his legacy...
I think he ranks somewhere within the top 150 fighters of all time...

If he does then definately top 20-25 of all time, with a win over pac then maybe top 15. If he fought cotto and marg then he would be definately top 10 of all time. But yeah you are right at lightweight he was a beast and would have beaten most of the greatest lightweights.

I have said this before...Shane would give Floyd his first loss, and give him one of the most difficult fights in his career. This would make a nice trilogy. I believe Shane has been through the fire with some bigger opponents which would make this fight somewhat more winnable for him. No disrespect to Floyd, but I just think he is "Taylor Made" for Shane to come out victorious!
