I think Christian Shepherd's mysterious disappearance has something to do with linking the two alternate realities together though I haven't figured out how. I doubt that his apparition on and off the island is the entity (Smoke Monster) -- It isn't entity's usual style to steal bodies or make appearances off the island. I also think there is a third alternate reality in which Jack and the rest at the Swan station died in the H bomb explosion which also caused the island to sink in the ocean.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Desmond was married to Libby? They did meet in a coffee shop after all.

To the answerer above; Penny would have existed. Widmore had a family off the island before 1977 - the main argument between Widmore and Eloise Hawking was that he was a lying, cheating dog. Penny is presumed to be 2-5 years older than Daniel Faraday - Eloise and Widmore's son. Eloise was pregnant with Daniel in 1977. If anyone was to not exist, it would be Daniel.

This would also mean that Desmond didn't go to prison, didn't get visited by Eloise after purchasing Penny's wedding band, didn't go on the race around the world to prove his worth to Penny and Charles, didn't live in a monastery after being estranged from Penny, never went to the island, never was visited by Daniel Faraday in the past, present or future, never had freaky flashbacks and flashforwards and "new" memories, etc. His life would have been on track.

    I love Desmond.

no be counted how badly you're able to prefer to maintain on course with the instruct (like myself, i'm in school besides) i've got ignored midterms (for different reasons) and it fairly is affected my grades fairly badly. i do no longer actually have a television the place i'm, i individually only get carry of the past nighttime's episode and wait patiently the day after a sparkling episode airs to visual show unit it. get a pal to tape it, purchase the episode from itunes, or get carry of it. this midterm only happens as quickly as, misplaced will constantly be around

I think that Jacob and the guy in black are either an angel and a demon or God and the Devil. Or maybe just a good vs. evil force.

So now that the guy in black is in Locke's body, its going to be the survivors and the others trying to combat him for control of the island.

    I did !!!

Well i had this initail idea before, but then i read someone elses idea, which was similar to mine , but only better .

You know how like everything almost revovles around Hurley, him living in a physcho home, & how he can see dead people and the numbers bring him bad luck 4,,8 16 23, 42, [i dnt remember the numbers] But yeah I think the ending scene would be him curled up in his phycho home, and it's all a dream to him.

i liked it a lot! i'm so glad charlie is back! i am really hoping that we see more of juliet in the universe where they don't crash. i think that she was jumping between the two lives when talking about coffee before she died, hence the "it worked" that miles says she was about to say. i think at one point that will happen to all of them, while they are realizing that their is two universes.
