Dahlia restaurant in Seattle - do you recommend for a birthday dinner?

I have been to the Dahlia several times. Excellent restaurant. I personally think it would be and excellent place for a birthday dinner. Its a dim lit atmosphere and also fairly quiet if its just going to be a couple of you. If you are looking for a place for more than 3 or 4 people then I wouldn't suggest it. On the more pricey side just up the street is a place called The Metropolitan Grill. You can go to their website and kind of check out their prices. www.themetropolitangrill.com . It is by far the best restaurant I have eaten at. Well worth the money. For a birthday dinner you can have a lot of people there, plus its a more lively atmosphere

I have never eaten in the Eahlis restaurant but I love eating out at different restaurants and different foods as long as it is not hot and spicy.
