How great of a chance do I have getting hired for a census job?
I'm hoping to hear from someone who has gone further in the process than I, or who has actually worked with the Census Bureau. I tested on 2/03/10 with a score of 25/28. Should I retest to bring it higher? I've heard that they only call the 27's and 28's. I'm supposed to be hearing from them soon to take the Supervisor's test. If I don't score well on that one, will I at least be considered as an enumerator? Also, my availability is 40 hours a week, clean background, plus I have reliable transportation-seems that these are deciding factors as well.

A friend of mine scored a 24 and was called to take the supervisor's test. This was in the middle of Western Colorado... She had taken it in the capitol, Denver and tested the same and was never called. I would say you have a good chance if there is a need in your region. In this system, it's all about who has a higher score.
