Help with new wireless router?
Okay I've been having trouble setting up my wireless router and nothing seems to be working I've done every thing the set up wizard program said to do but it always screws up in the middle part and I don't understand why. Okay so here's what's happening
it says to unplug the power to the dsl modem. I did that. Now it says to unplug the existing Ethernet cable going into my computer and plug it into blue port 1 in the dlink router. I did that. Now it says to plug in the new router. I did that. Now it says it's waiting for the router... This is normally where the problem is.
Now it says error 322 the new router wad not detected.
Can somebody please tell me what's going on! It's getting annoying and can u please tell me what to do! THANKYOU!!!

D-Link routers are crap...take it back and get a Netgear WGR614 ($40)
I had a D-Link router for about a year and had nothing but trouble with it (had to keep resetting the router to get it to recognize my laptops)...Got the Netgear and no more worries and my connection is faster too.
Whatever you do, make sure you set up the security on the router.
PS...Netgear's tech support is great too!

if you are still having troubles, then go to a computer store and pay them to do it for you
