Does your religion matter with salvation through jesus christ in view?

My understanding from the holy bible is that a person's religion does matter. Many people who have died and never received a chance to learn about Jehovah God and his wonderful Jesus Christ, will receive a second chance at eternal life by receiving a resurrection. (John 4:22,23)(matthew 7:13-15)(john 5:28,29) What are your views on this matter of religion?

no body gets a 2nd chance at salvation, we all have this one life in which to save our souls with the help of Jesus.

When you die and stand before God, he will not ask you which denomination you joined. He will not care how smart you are, or how well you understand soteriology, theology, philosophy, or religion. He will look into your heart, and he will know you has his own child. He created you just the way you are and he knows that. He didn't expect you to turn out different.

You'll have lots of questions for Jesus and you'll ask him why did he permit so many denominations and so many religions? He will reply with, "I didn't notice. I only saw people."
