What do they call a person who types what the judge is saying in a court room?

Someone told me that the person who sits in the court room and types whatever the judge and people say makes good money but what is that job called?

    Court reporter or court stenographer.

    Probably a very boring person. Seriously though, Clerk of the Court, Stenographer, Court Reporter.

    A Court Stenographer, which by the way , you must be very social and have connections.

    Courtroom Reporter. You used to have to take a class on stenography but I am not sure if they still use it in some areas.
