how much did a bread slicer cost in 1928?

    In 1928 we were not so lucky to have fancy bread slicers like today, we used serrated knives which a set of good knives would have been less then 5.00 for a complete set.

    I am not that old, but I doubt if they had them then. Probably used a knife.
