In order to fix computer freezing at startup, you must first boot up your CPU in safe mode. This is done by tapping F8 as soon as your start your system.

Once in safe mode you can attempt to fix the problem. If you don’t feel like going to the computer repair shop or buying a new system, the next best thing is to scan your computer with a registry repair program.

Computer freezing comes from errors within the Windows registry. I would recommend cleaning it up. You can perform a free scan at:

this has worked with my computer before... but i am not sure about urs.... befor you tutrn it on pull the computerpart ..(the big metal box that runs your cmputer) out and make sure its cool and not hot...then turn your moniter screen off (there should be a powr botton on the side or back or maby even front and then make sure your motonme is working properly....it may be your harddrive is crouded or doesnt have any virrtuel memory left....or possibly your computer is overheating.... it could also be the fact your computer might have some virouses on it.... again check everything is running right... if you dont your problem might not be resoveld.... if it is a virus or harddrive you might need a new computer(just the box that every wire goes into and that beeps when you hold down like 5 keys... ) i have givin all the advice i have but these work for me and my computer is a DINOSOUR so again this is just advice
