How can I respect religion when their God is capable of creating the life-cycle of the parasitic wasp?
I mean, just how messed up do you have to be? And please, don't try to tell me that God decided to punish spiders and have them paralysed and eaten alive because of Adam and Eve's sin! come on, give me a reason that will convince me that God isn't a psychopath!

God is a psychopath but that is because what we typically define as "God" is an invention of the "mind of man." In truth you are the creator of your own experience which makes you god (gods create). I mean that seriously. You are god and when you discover that about yourself you will see the world in a wondrous way that sees no "sin" but only sees an incredible symmetry and beauty in every aspect of life.
God does not create a sinful "insect" life or sinful anything else. Humans do. Truth is everything in this life is never to be judged good or evil. When you get past the judgment of things in this existence it all becomes incredible.

I don't think wasp are parasites to begin with but, think of it like this. On a very basic level all creatures are programmed the same in one way at least and this is to preserve it's own life. How they've evolved to do this differs from one species to the next.
How you want to weave God into this is up to you. Religion is man-made. God is something else. You could consider God as a life-force and build on that. Your choice on how you expand on that dude.

A wasp stung me the other day. There's still a bit of flesh missing. Nasty little critters. Yes. That disproves God.

It wasn't God that did that. It was nature. The one you think created this world.
My beliefs says he created paradise without any wasp inside of it. Only a just God would create every kind of beast. If you don't believe in fairness than my God isn't for you.

Wow God created animals to eat other animals, how horrible...what a terrible God that created flourishing ecosystems that balance delicately on each other. The poor spider which paralyzes other creatures by eating them is now paralyzed itself. Oh yes I would love for a predator to not remain in check by other predators or by nature.
Everything appears to be very fine tuned and balanced, the wasp pollinates, while the spider kills the bugs who pollinate.

God did not force Adam and Eve to do, or not do, anything. God invented freedom. Since your, mine, and their freedoms, have been lost to law, why do you ***** about God?

Only one reason will suffice : Gods or devils do not exist
