Question to black people...?

Do you believe all the hype from statistics about all the crime committed by AA's, children born to single mothers, or media representations that blacks are shiftless criminals who are lazy, or whatever. I always wonder what the black points of view are. Do you guys recognize the problems that so many people claim the black culture repsresents? Do you ever get tired of seeing the crime numbers and constant TV shows showing Black youth committing crimes? What about lack of educated AA's in our high schools (drop out rates and such)? Basically, do AA's believe all this stuff and ignore it or do you acknowlege these issues? No racist tinge to this question. Just want to understand. Thanks.....

Update:

Do black people feel that their culture as a whole is doing as good, better, or worse than other American race classes?

I don't believe all of the statistics, and I certainly don't believe that we are all lazy people prone to crime. I think that all of statistics and negative news reports and so on about us, causes some of us to throw in the towel and start acting the way that others portray us out of rebellion or feelings of being stuck in that category. It is tiring to constantly see this; It's not a confidence booster for anyone in the black community. I do think that we should start focusing on education more. Education is the key to success and unfortunately alot of us have been led to think that school and being brainy is a geeky thing or being uppity.

Well....to start off are you talkng about the gangster blacks? or the Africans? if your talkng about gangsters...they're really confused people i mean they dont have any parents even if they do they take out their anger on society because of the way people view them. Its hard to survive the way they do having to worry about drive by's and such. Since they were born in a poor neighborhood (not all) they're parents might not have enough money to be funding them through school so they mostly drop out either because of money or they lack basic education needed in highschool. They ignore these things and move on in life....

I'm white, but from what I noticed on my black friends, they laugh at it and say f it. B/c statistically, you can find sometrhing wrong with every race.

I had blk friends..when the google spam thing happend whe you typed in "white person steals car", it wud say did you mean black person steals car?.. they wud make it a facebook photo and tag all there friends with most of them saying LOL... hahahaha.. or lmao!!!!!

White people do the same things as blacks, but someone has to come up on top.

I don't completely believe everything I hear about from the media, things get sensationalized and exaggerated or just completely biased. It's annoying.
