Has anyone ever heard of oxycodone not working after only a week?
I found that these percocet pills worked beautifully for a few days. After that I didn't feel the onset of the pain medicine rather I felt the after affects like sleepiness! I am completely dumbfounded as. To what would cause such a thing. Has anyone ever heard of this before?
1 AnswerPain & Pain Management10 years agoHow is it that Catholics are the only people who see Mary in a piece of toast or a pane of glass?
Why wouldn't she show herself to all Christians? I mean isn't she a 'semi-deity' in Catholicism? My understanding is that she was a HUMAN. Why does she lower herself to being seen in common everyday grocery items?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBrother and sisters, is it easier to blame white people for our problems instead of admitting to ourselves....?
that we are the cause of our own societal ills? I mean we have the highest crime rates compared to any other social group or class. We have the highest high school drop out rates compared to all other races. We have the highest rates of single-parent households. We have the lowest marriage rates compared to any other demographic in the world. We have the highest rates of teen pregnancy. We have the 9 out of 10 black children born out of wedlock. I know we have have come a long way but I find that my friends and family in general tend to blame the man (i.e. white people) for holding us back. Whenever i bring up any negative (but true) statistics I am met with stiff resistance and ignorance. It's almost like we (myself included) are blind to what is happening. Do any of my black brothas and sistahs feel the same way? What can we as a minority do? Do we need to take responsibiliy and be held accountable? I think so. We also need to work on our public manners while in movie theatres. But one step at a time. Only clean and positive comments preferably. Thank you.

13 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoI recently read articles about MLK being a philanderer? Does this take away from...?
the mystique surrounding Dr. King? Did Dr. King cheat in a disertation paper in college? Also, was Rosa Parks an activist for the NAACP and did this determine her famous refusal to give her bus seat up in 1955? I always thought that this was a spontaneous act by Rosa Parks. Is any of this stuff true? We were taught a much different story of these BHM leaders in public school. I don't know what to say in light of these discoveries. My views of these esteemed figures are suspect. What do you guys think? Plz,no racist answers.

Guess who seems to be doing most of the criminal acts?.....You guessed it.
3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoQuestion to black people...?
Do you believe all the hype from statistics about all the crime committed by AA's, children born to single mothers, or media representations that blacks are shiftless criminals who are lazy, or whatever. I always wonder what the black points of view are. Do you guys recognize the problems that so many people claim the black culture repsresents? Do you ever get tired of seeing the crime numbers and constant TV shows showing Black youth committing crimes? What about lack of educated AA's in our high schools (drop out rates and such)? Basically, do AA's believe all this stuff and ignore it or do you acknowlege these issues? No racist tinge to this question. Just want to understand. Thanks.....

7 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoWhy is it that the Tru TV videos of crime or car chases show blacks and mexicans being the perpetrator?
Before you scream "racist" be honest with yourself. Are these people being unfairly portrayed or is it that these ppl really commit the majority of crime?
12 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoAre you surprised by commercials that portray black couples being married?
I mean...do you really believe that? It just seems that the media doesn't show many black ppl as married. Is there some statistic that...wait...yep, there is.
8 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoCan someone agree with me when I say actor Tom Cavanaugh...?
is just God awful? Anything he touches turns to cancelled. Why do studios continue to force these crap series down our throats? I think it would be hilarious to have a new series called "Cancelled..." starring Tom and- another TV series strikeout- Mark Feuerstein. It literally would be a pilot, first and last episode with the main characters realizing how pointless there careers are. GREEN LIGHT IT!
2 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoWhy is it acceptable in minority culture to have 'baby daddy's' but not have husbands?
There are songs glorifying the practice and it seems to be no big deal. What it is it with having babies out of wedlock and the fathers not owning up and being 'father figures'. I know it's not all ppl. So leave off the comments about "it's not all ppl..." Just someone help me to understand. Thank you.
