Has anyone ever heard of oxycodone not working after only a week?
I found that these percocet pills worked beautifully for a few days. After that I didn't feel the onset of the pain medicine rather I felt the after affects like sleepiness! I am completely dumbfounded as. To what would cause such a thing. Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Most people do build up a tolerance but usually not after a few days. After a few days your body should be getting used to it, so you shouldn't get as much of a "euphoric" or sleepy feeling and you should just have less pain. If it is not working for you ask your doctor to switch to a different pain med. Oxycodone personally does not work for me, I take hydrocodone.
