What version of AutoCad should I get?

I had autocad in college as part of my degree and would like to get a copy for my home computer, just to make sure that I can retain these skills. I have always been into drawing/drafting so I think this is a program I could get in to. I don't want to spend thousands of dollars but would like to get a full version I can save on my computer that will function right. I also want a version that will be compatable with most CNC machines. Does anyone have a suggestion on which version is best for me, and the best way to get ahold of this for home use?

Thanks,

Update:

When I say auto cad I mean any drafting software, autocad, autodesk etc.

The version for Auto Cad. There's a normal one just called AutoCad. I used AutoCad 2008, but they do not sell that anymore, so you cna use AutoCad 2010. It should be fine for homeuse and its just drafitng. Fast, Easy, what else you want?
