I am going to go out on a limb here and assume you want a simple answer to a fairly common question right? Well here it is while its true that synthetic lasts a bit longer. There is absolutely no harm in switching back and forth between synthetic, semi synthetic and mineral oil. Back in the early days of synthetics they had complaints about about leaks after some people used synthetic oil but these days they have the bugs worked out. Some might tell you that switching back and forth will cause engine trouble or leaks or a list of other problems but it wont you can switch as many times as u would like and you will be fine.Just keep your oil and filter changed every 3000 miles and it will last a long time.

If you want to damage the engine. Oh you COULD do it, but it would take a lot of work, and more then you'd be willing to put in to it I'm sure. You can't simply change the oil filter and put in non-synthetic. It is a whole procedure, and would be pointless even if you got it to work. I mean first the synthetic costs a little more because it is meant to last longer and second the amount you'd be spending to properly switch it would cancel any savings.

pass with man made, a sturdy man made. Mobil1 is tremendous. in case you'll get it, Royal pink is about an similar fee and that is astounding. The above those that say to apply regularly happening ought to not have experienced Mobil1 or Royal pink. in reality, in case you favor to have a interesting try, get a motor vehicle with atleast 60,000 miles and ideally older that has consistently had regularly happening in it, and put in man made. you'll actually hear and experience the engine run smoother. a lot less engine noise, more beneficial effective gasoline mileage and larger effective performance. note: some human beings get oil leaks even as they replace from regularly happening to man made. I replaced 5 vehicles over to man made from regularly happening and under no circumstances had this project - in spite of the undeniable fact that that is allegedly a project for some human beings. »J P.S. look at my source, that is an quite exciting web page. Royal pink truly smooths inner surfaces contained in the engine over the years.

    Can you? Yes.

The question is WHY? No reason to convert back to conventional oil....and if $$$ is the issue then you work a few more hours at your job ;)

Probably not a good idea, but check your owners manual to make sure.
