Who will the Saints host in the 2010 "Kickoff Classic"?
The Thursday night game that kicks off every season is hosted by the defending Super Bowl Champion.
The Saints have home games against the Falcons, Bucs. Panthers, Rams, Seahawks, Browns, Steelers, and Vikings)
I'd have to say they will play the Vikes in a re-match of the NFC championship, I would say especially if Favre comes back, but that will not be known until August, a good four months after the schedule is released. I could also see New Orleans hosting the Falcons (strong underrated team and division rival) or the Steelers (battle of last two SB champs) in this game...

They don't have to play a division opponent they can play anyone. The Steelers played the Titans in 2009.
Id say the Vikings, it would make one heck of a match-up with or without Farve

they have to go up against their division though... maybe the falcons... but i would prefer the vikings if they want to start off next season with big ratings!!!

in 01 after 9/11 everyone was routing for the patriots to win and they did...now after katrina and i guess you could throw in the earthquake from haiti, everyone wanted the saints to win and they did...seems like a setup to me...
