The people that want to know hoe to watch the NFL games online and it seems to be every other question anymore, or Francisco Lopez asking who won the super bowl?

  • Broken phone/contract dilemma?

I have an Alltell phone (now on Verizon) and the screen broke so it is still very hard (but not impossible) to read anything on the screen. I've had the phone since Nov. 2008 so its out of warranty but my contract is not up until this Nov. I took it to the Verizon store and they don't know how to fix it (which is reasonable since its not a Verizon phone) and they said I could buy a new phone at full retail or they would let me upgrade to a new verizon plan - which I do not want to do, I have not liked Verizon since they took over Alltel.

I could also use one of my old phones, but none have a QWERTY keyboard and I know I would miss that, and the two old phones I have I have used for 2+ years each and they've both seen better days.

I am 21 years old and currently an "added line" on my father's 5-phone plan, and he said I would have to get my own contract after this one expired, so I am only paying $10 (plus a moderate $6 texting plan that I always go over) per month.

I am thinking of swiching getting a new phone on Sprint. I want a blackberry or other smartphone and Sprint's talk/text/web plans are much cheaper than Verizon's talk/text/web plans (It would actually be a few bucks less per month to have the Sprint contract AND what I have now than it would be to have just a new verizon contract).

Money is not a huge issue to me, what do you think is the best thing I could do

  • Top 5 and bottom 5 teams this upcoming season?

    My top 5

    1. Saints (still the champs, #1 til someone beats them)

    2. Packers (highly underrated, Rodgers will have a big year, strong D)

    3. Jets (building off last year's playoff run, Sanchez has another year experience

    4. Colts (Manning is unstoppable in the regular season)

    5. Cowboys (Lots of weapons on offense)

    Bottom 5

28 - Broncos - Three average-at-best (or unproven) QBs in Orton, Quinn, Tebow. Lost their biggest playmaker in Marshall. McDaniels isn't that great of a coach

    29. Jags - Not a lot of quality players, lack of fan-support, they play in the toughest division

    30. Bucs - DIdn't do much in the off-season (aside from Gerald McCoy) to make me think they'll be much better than they were last year

    31. Rams - Sam Bradford alone won't make much difference. This team still needs a lot of pieces

    32. Bills - new coach (and bad hire) lost their only playmaker on offense in T.O., they just suck

  • With the first pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the ___ select ___?

    What team? What player? Why?

I asked this question after last year's draft for this year and a lot of people did say the Rams and Sam Bradford

Also, nobody say that the draft will not happen next year because a potential lockout would be AFTER the draft

  • What do you think of your team's schedule for 2010?

Although dates and times wont be released til Tuesday night, the home and away opponents have been known for quite some time now

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8157a75c&...

My team is the Steelers, and although there are more pressing issues right now than who we play this season, I say it is a moderately tough schedule with some tough games (@ New Orleans, Jets and Falcons at home, Baltimore twice) and some easy games (Cinci twice, Cleveland twice [although they will be improved], @ Tampa, @ Buffalo) but from last year I know that even the easy games arent guaranteed wins

  • Who will be the first team to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium?

The next three seasons have the super Bowl being played at the home of a (at least in the past couple seasons) contending team

    2010-Dallas

    2011-Indy

    2012-INew Orleans

Which of these games (if any) will feature their home team, and if you dont think any will then which team will be the first to play a SB at their home field?

  • Who will the Saints host in the 2010 "Kickoff Classic"?

The Thursday night game that kicks off every season is hosted by the defending Super Bowl Champion.

The Saints have home games against the Falcons, Bucs. Panthers, Rams, Seahawks, Browns, Steelers, and Vikings)

I'd have to say they will play the Vikes in a re-match of the NFC championship, I would say especially if Favre comes back, but that will not be known until August, a good four months after the schedule is released. I could also see New Orleans hosting the Falcons (strong underrated team and division rival) or the Steelers (battle of last two SB champs) in this game...

  • What will be the most intriguing interconference matchup in 2010?

    AFC east vs. NFC north

    AFC north vs. NFC south

    AFC south vs. NFC east

    AFC west vs. NFC west

I think the AFC south and NFC east have been the best divisions, top-to-bottom, over the past few seasons, so I look there first and I like the Cowboys @ Colts game a lot next year

Other ones I think will be fun to watch

    Steelers @ Saints

    Saints @ Ravens

Giants @ Colts (even if only because of the battle of the Mannings)

    Cowboys @ Texans

    Vikings @ Jets

    Packers @ Jets

  • Which coaches will get fired after the end of the season?

Its hard fr me to think of a lot because most of the bad teams are under first-year head coaches. I will go with Mangini (only because Holmgren wants someone who shares his coaching philosophy), Zorn (given), Phillips unless the Cowboys go deep into the playoffs, Raheem Morris (for turning a team that contended for the playoffs each of the last two seasons into a horrible team), and Lovie Smith

  • Which coaches will be fired after the 2009 season?

I think Wade Phillips in Dallas (for not reaching Jerry Jones' and the fans high expectations) and John Fox of Carolina (for having a poor season with these high expectations, coupled with inconsistency in the past few years).

I will give all the new coaches a pass for their first season except McDaniels (because of how he handled the Cutler situation and that the team really is terrible) and Cable (because of Al Davis)
