How come conservatives aren't talking about the stock market today(sarcasm)?

Update:

I normally don't talk about it at all. it seems to be a conservative talking point when it's down

Update 2:

Harold Goldstein. Did I piss you off? GOOD.

Such sarcasm. Overall, the economy is weak because the government spending is choking true economic growth.

There's nothing much to talk about. This time of year is usually down for the market. I think in this instance, though the economy is still showing weakness partly due to uncertainty over Obama's regulations and proposed tax increases. Once the picture get more clear, you'll see a more consistent market one way or another.

From the tone of your question I'm guessing it has risen a few points? So in that respect why when it goes down does the left not get on here and talk about it?

Has it reached 14,000 like it was a little more than a year ago?

Here's a nice sarcastic reply. When their portfolios are gaining, Conservatives dance with joy, because they love a Free Market where they can earn money, along with the greedy bankers. If this happens, they don't parade in front of the banks and complain about the money that was loaned to the bankers. Then, if they could just get President Obama to stop talking about fair taxation, with the wealthy paying their share, they could be completely happy. After all, who could think of anyone making over $250,000 a year as Wealthy. That's just pocket change, after all!

It was at 10,700 in mid January. It's at about 10,070 today. So what would you like to discuss regarding the stock market today? Still looks down to me.

Let me know what it's back up to the record highs during Bush. Even during the middle of Bush's last year in office in 2008 it was still around or over 13,000.

Is there some kind of political news that you are speculating has caused the market to climb?

Why aren't you talking about the unemployment rate not rising above 8%(sarcasm)?

economist, some, are saying this is the start of a "w" style recession. we have peaked and now it is on the down. some have predicted it will get back down to 7500-8000 by summer due to more spending and less tax revenues being collected.

I never talk about the SM. But there was a question that remarked on the potential of a crash, because of the dramatic ups and downs of late.
