What are some adoption agencies in haiti?

I was searching online for the different adoption agencies in haiti and I can't seem to find a directory or anything similar. I know it is possible to adopt through agencies that are located outside of haiti (like in the US and Canada), but I was more curious about adoption agencies in the country of haiti. Do you know where I could find a list of haiti-based adoption agencies??

You couldn't find a list because Haiti doesn't have any adoption agencies. Adoptions are handled by the government and some (not all) orphanages.

At the moment, adoption from Haiti is not possible unless you have already completed the approval process. First priority is disaster relief and reuniting families who have been separated. New adoptions will not be possible until the country has stabilized, the missing have been located or confirmed dead, and they have identified the actual orphans versus the children who are lost from living relatives.

Why not look into adoption locally? There are over 120,000 children in US foster care who actually do need permanent homes as soon as possible.

Bethany Christian Services is the largest adoption agency in America. I think they do work in Haiti.

you cant adopt from there right now. haiti adoptions are on a pause so they can deal with the quake. plus the kids they call orphans probley have family that got lost in the shuffle of the quake, so they need to re-unite families before they start allowing adoptions. you wouldnt want to adopt a baby whos mother was still alive and wanting to raise him. we gotta let haiti get pieced back together before we go adopting their babies, and its going to take a while for haiti to get pieced back together.
