Hey greg, show me a source that says the overall temperatures have fallen over the last decade which is not a political blog. If you do take me up on this offer, I bet you still cite a blog thinking it's a credible source. If the temperatures have fallen for such a long period, why is the ice disappearing rather than re-freezing? I agree you have some room to argue with man-made global warming, but ice doesn't disappear when it gets colder. This is how your logic falls back on common sense grade school ****. Another thing a smart person doesn't do is try to make conclusions from one data point. Over the next few years if cooler temperatures stick around, then it will be safe to say that the globe is not warming. You guys act like the scientists are conjuring up this huge scam, when they themselves have many disagreements on the causes and effects of the warming. Most all of them have come to a consensus that the earth is warming. You guys have used this climate gate thing as a political move against the president. It has worked. Congratulations on helping the nation take a step backward.

I have included a couple sites with tons of research journals. You will find this is the way that most scientists communicate. The data and experiments they publish must be reviewed by others in their field. Just because a journal is peer-reviewed, doesn't mean some bad work can get published, but that's where reproducibility comes in. This collaboration among scientists are how our modern society became so advanced.

Most people haven't a clue as to what global warming is.

We don't have snow in L.A., but the rain has been non stop and for L.A. the temperatures have been cold. We haven't been out of the 50's most of the winter and that's very unusual. We should be in the 70's by now.

I feel for what people in the mid-west and east coast are going through. I'm from Chicago and I remember all too well. The cold and snow has nothing to do with global warming.

There is seriously something going on with the environment. People who are too lazy to recycle and too selfish to care will do whatever it can to justify to themselves that everything is fine and dandy.

The t.v.'s in the hotel room had a chanel or 2 from every continent and each news station was talking about the dreaded unexpected and record breaking cold in areas in their countries (the UK, China, and Florida were having major snowstorms.) And then in some places where it is typically cold that time of year, it was much warmer. This was the same week that the Haiti earthquake took place.

the progressive politicians that are preaching the new religion of global warming certainly have no idea what it is or how to measure it. The scholars and scientists that are being used to prop up this hoax don't know what it is.They just know they will be burned at the stake as heretics if they dare to reveal that no scientific evidence actually backs up this theory. If you actually pay attention there are not any real scientists willing to commit to the statement that human activity is causing global warming. But they are scared to actually say that there is no scientific proof of this theory, because progressive politicians are holding all the purse strings for academic research. If they ever say that man-made global warming is not supported by science their grants will dry up and they will be blacklisted.

Yes. I feel the same way when I see people claim that the release of CO2 is going to cause catastrophic warming. During the carboniferous period, CO2 levels were at 800 ppm (we have around 380 ppm now). Average global temperatures were the same (14 degrees Celsius) and the ocean levels actually dropped, causing a mass extinction of marine organisms. The north and south were both pretty heavily glaciated. Looks like the correlation between CO2 levels and global temperature is just that: a correlation.

Weather is a constantly changing. That does not, in itself, disprove global warming. But the dishonest and selective use of data by global warming "scientists" is strong evidence that man-made global warming is not a reality, but a politically driven, anti-capitalist hoax.

I'm not sure just how you intend to "shoe" us, but global warming fanatics surely do seem pretty desperate when they try to make a connection with their shaky theories and record-breaking cold temperatures.

Of course Mr Liberal, we ALL know about GW . All the imperialist countries use energy and make a hole in the ozone. This hole is responsible for ALL evils. If it's too hot, blame the hole, too cold? The hole.

I laugh every time I hear someone say "you just don't understand it". When the fact is that "Global Warming" was presented to everyone as overall earth temperatures rising. So when temperatures are shown to have actually fallen over the last 10 years....it's comical.

Why did they start calling it "Climate Change" instead? Did Einstein change the name of his "Theory of relativity" when people questioned him? No, because he didn't have to.
