Does exceeding the weight limit on the Wii Fit board make it not work?

What is the weight limit? I've heard 300, 330, and 350lbs, which is correct? Does what happens if you exceed it? Is this just a warning or recommendation? Can I still play a game if I exceed a weight limit? What can I expect at 320 lbs?

According to Shigeru Miyamoto (the creator of the game), the Wii Fit board can physically take up to 660 pounds but the sensors only work accurately up to 330 pounds. Beyond that and you will get wayward readings. You should be okay at 320 pounds.

If you exceed the weight then the games will still be playable but you won't get the correct results (which defeats the purpose), so I think it's more of a recommendation than a warning (ie, you won't break the board but it might hinder your progress when doing the activities).

The original web-page with Miyamoto's interview no longer exists but Wikipedia confirms the weight limit to be 330 pounds: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Balance_Board#Des...
