Its Friday, first game of the season is tonight. Would you or do you treat this game as just another Fri nite.?
game or being the first game of the season, you wait in anticipation for something great is about to happen?
For me.....this is just a preseason cup match, not too excited about the Nab cup. But because its the first game .....I can't wait to watch it.

Exactly the same as you Mate, It's only the NAB cup but we've waited about 5 months to watch some more footy, so I'll be tuning in for sure, I'm looking forward to not only watching my Tigers but all the sides to see how the Draftees go, especially the top 20 or so.
We're expected to get a hiding tomorrow night, but i want to see our much talked about new game plan, it will take some work to get it working but it'll be interesting to see what they have been talking about.

if australia wasn't playing the west indies in the one dayer i would probably watch the cricket.
but seeing there is a game of footy on instead yes i will be watching.
should be a good game 2 as these 2 teams are looking to go forward and improve a lot this season.
they both have a fair bit to prove. even if it is an nab cup game.
cheers mate.

I'm excited and yes it is "only the NAB Cup" but wow I've missed my footy...besides that I'm sick of cricket...I don't like the cricket much but this season has been even more boring than usual.
It's cold and wet in Melbourne today so even though the "real" season hasn't started hubby is having his usual Friday night dinner tonight...a couple of pies and a beer.

(looking out for hurn and lynch tonight)(go the eagles) cant wait to see how the players such as scott selwood, ebert, masten, shuey and even kerr go tonight. not to forget bradd dalzeills first for the eagles!

2 tickets to the 1994 beginning Day recreation at style-new The Ballpark IN Arlington, Brewers v. Rangers. i think of I forked over $250 for the pair. in no way spent something remotely on the ingredient of that for a typical season recreation till now or because of the fact that, even though it replaced into well worth it, first sturdy recreation in a sparkling park.

Well, Friday morning, more of.
Nah.. I'm jumping out of my pants for this one...
Screw the cricket. I'm going to listen to the footy commentary!
Source(s): Argh. Damn AFL.com.au for no commentary, and damn the weather in Sydney for washing out what looked like the only competitive game of the ODI summer. - ADPLv 41 decade ago
