Can I install an older model scanner to a new computer programmed with VISTA?

    if the scanner company website has vista drivers for it

    Only if a driver has been made available for it.

    Best way is to find the company who makes the scanner and see if they have a web page. Usually there is support on there where you can download the correct driver that you need.

    Yes, I think you can. I have Vista and I use my printer/scanner that I bought a couple years ago. But you should go to the manufacturer website to download the newest software for your scanner if they have it.

    Possibly if there is a driver as others have said. The odds go down even more if it a 64 bit version.
