Is it true that people are more angry when behind the computer screen because no one can see the person?
I always see people sending negative responses to simple questions. Is there a reason why?

It's any combination of these 3 reasons:
1. They try to act "taller", "cooler", or more important than someone else by critiquing them.
2. They suffer from some problem in the real world, so they must spread their unhappiness to others.
3. They want to provoke others just for the fun of watching their action/reaction.

sad isn't it?

Yes, very true. It's the old Jekyll and Hyde syndrome. Mild mannered face to face, but anonymity give them that feeling of invincibility. Relief for all that pent-up frustration and stress that has been building up all day due to lack of coping and social skills. The kind of people who do cruel things to insects and small animals because it gives them a feeling of power. Same as what happens when some people get behind the wheel of a car(road rage). At least they can't kill someone with a computer. like they could with a car.
The do it to feed the need for self-esteem. It makes them feel better to make someone else miserable or hurt their feelings. In other words they're azzholes. >_<

people want to display stupid comments and think they are hard because they know that no one can come after them behind the screen. i think its preety funny actually how they make themselves feel better.
