horizontal hood piercing?

I have a horizontal hood piercing, it's been exactly a month today. Well I noticed that the skin is looking pretty thin around the piercing. Is this normal? I have researched online and haven't been able to find much. One blog type writing I found said that it seems to happen with women that have one labia larger than the other, because it causes the jewelry to turn and twist. Is there anything that can be done to save the piercing? Is it possible to have it redone as a vertical hood piercing? I am going to visit the piercer tomorrow morning but I wanted some information as soon as possible.

I am asking for information, not opinions. If you don't like it, don't get it done or don't be with someone that has it done. I liked the way it looks and it provides great stimulation. My body, my choice, get over it. And as for cleaning, I cleaned with something similar to H2Ocean given to me by the shop 3x daily as per instructions.

Your piercing is rejecting. If you remove it now, it will heal over with minimal scarring, and you could try to have it re-pierced. If you leave it in and let it reject, you will have a scar and it is possible that the skin will heal over funny and leave uneven and bumpy looking skin.

Rejection can happen because your body does not like the foreign metal in your body, or cleaning wasn't persistent or was done with improper cleaning agents.

Ok no longer all folks are preteens answering this besides,I might seem into on-line and notice what is claimed approximately having it pierced.I myself would not do it however I can fully grasp why a few do get it performed..Good good fortune with that
