Jumuah Mubarak to All?

Bukhari Volume 2

Book 13

51:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "When it is a Friday,

the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing

the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession

according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters

the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a

camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering

a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg

respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they

(i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba."

Thank you for sharing and reminders

This hadis is one of the example to strive for excellence in ibadah. Many people goes to the mosque but how many maximise the rewards.Muslim pray but how many prayed in jamaah at the beginning of each salat. We fast in ramadan but how many observed the rules and sunnah strictly.Islam is not about quantity alone but the quality as well.Insyallah with continous infos and reminders from bro's and sister,we will be an excellent slave to Allah.

Salam. Thanks for your sharing knowledge about jumuah prayer.I have read it too. Ialways try to enter the most on friday just at least 15 minutes before the sermon or khutbah will be started so I can make attakhiyatul masjid prayer of 2 raka'ats and another 2 raka'ats of sunnah prayer before hearing the sermon.Usually I sit at first row behind the imam.

next time i walk into the masjid on a friday, im going to remember this and try to "feel' the angels - i doubt id be ale to, but still, the thought of them being there would be nice

Source(s): an yes yes, i know there are 2 angels beside me right now, but i wonder if it would feel different

ya right. That tells us that we should arrive to the masjid as earliest as possible to gain the most sawab. and one more thing you havt spread to all and you should too change in your statement that we should not use mosque as it represents mosquitoes instead use masjid.
