What do you think of the name Oaklie for a little girl?

Possibly spelt Oakley. Okay, so two questions, do you like it, and which spelling?

Or do you prefer Lacey? Is that too common?

FYI: changing the spelling of the name doesn't make it look more reputable or feminine so it'll conveniently suit a little girl who, BTW will remain a puerile five year old for the rest of her life with such a silly (most of all MASCULINE) name.

Oakley as a name for a male is nice and subtle. I wouldn't ever use it, but I do find it to be attractive an fun loving. All of those qualities are torn to shreds when it's considered for a female.

I think Oakley or Oaklie is a nice name, but it sounds more like a boy's name. I prefer the name Lacey, thats very pretty.

Oakley looks a bit like a house name, Oaklie much more like a persons name. Spelling a name is a very personal thing and opinions will vary a lot. Either way, it's a beautiful name, I really love it.

I don't like Oakley at all but although Lacey is feminine it is a bit common. Go for something less chavish like Julie or Susan

I prefer Oakley above Oaklie and Lacey, mostly because I can't really picture them as names. Oakley is nice, though.

Oaklie is ADORABLE!!!! I think I prefer Oakley, but either way is just plain cute! I don't like Lacey very much, and I know lots of Laceys, it's very common.

I like Oaklie, but I have known a few Lacey's in my life and they have all had awesome personalities, I am one that belives a name does affect personality for some reason.

Oakley? Do they make ski goggles or something of that nature? Why not call your little girl Annie for a first name and Oakley for a second name.

I prefer Oakley, spelled this way. I like Oakley better than Lacey, it sounds more sophisticated.

You might also like Waverly, Everleigh, or Greenlee.

My favorite of this type of name is Waverly.

I'm sorry, but I don't like it at all. I think you'd be much better off with a more classic name; Lacey is much prettier, and she's less likely to be teased for having such an odd name.
