Does anyone know a good free anti-virus program for Windows 7 HP.?
I have Norton but it doesn't really seem to do anything so I want a better one, It came with my laptop I've only had it for about 2 months.
But, also is there anyway I can clean stuff out and make it run faster without a program, just like the computer can do it on its own.

Yeah, AVG has great features.
Avast just has more. Like boot-time scans and full rootkit protection (not just "basic"). It's also better than Norton and McAffe when it comes to detecting viruses, and it's faster than both as well. It's also pretty powerful in the anti-spyware realm.
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware should get rid of anything Avast misses (which is very, very rare).

Microsoft actually has a package called Security Essentials that protects you from all sorts of malware including viruses and spyware. It is available at http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
AVG Free and Spybot are also a good free combination.

Avast - good, free, yarrrr!
Also Malwarebytes, Spybot: Search and Destroy, or Ad-Aware are good for eliminating those pesky malware programs.
