Need help installing a windows 7 winrar file for my new LG monitor.?
I know thats not a question either lol.
I just bought a new LG monitor
http://www.lge.com/us/support/produc...roduct-prof...
The installation cd doesn't include windows 7, the above link has the file for it.
I winrar it but I have no idea how to actually install the monitor on my computer?
Like there is 3 options that come up after DLin the file, I'm just lost on what file has the installation in it.
I'm a noob but if someone could help, that would be great.
It really shouldn't be too hard.
Thanks in advance!

None of that makes any sense. Link is bad.
You don't need to install anything on any computer to connect a monitor to it. You plug it into the computer. If the monitor has other features on it such as USB or audio ports you may need to install a driver for those devices.
Winrar is used for expanding compressed archive files. That's useful if the file you download is compressed, rar, zip, or another.

No. It depends on how u run the installationl. In the process, if you are installing the operating system on a partition that already contains windows 7, u will be prompted that ur old windows files will be relocated. Normally this will be in folder called "windows.old". After the installation u will see all your files in the " windows.old" folder under a sub folder "Users"
