how can i upload an animation i created in flash CS4 to the internet?
i recently made an animation that i want to send to someone, but i know they dont have any of the costly adobe programs. i want to upload the animation to the internet so they can view it through the internet as opposed to viewing it through Flash CS4.
I know how to publish the file into a .gif but everytime i try to view the image after i upload it, the image is not animated.
I need help making this animation to where the person i'm sending it to can view it as an animation. (i have no idea what kind of software they have, or what kind of updates they have, so just assume they have the basics to mainly just run the internet.) is there a website that will convert my .fla file to a video file? or is there a way i can make it a video with my software THEN upload it to youtube or something like that.
i dont know whats the best way to send it as file so they can see it. Whats the easiest/best way to do it? And how?

They should be able to view it if you send it as an attachment in an email. All computers worth the name have software to play the flash file. All is required is to click (double-click) on the file to open the media player. I do this all the time in my email program including playing Powerpoints.
If you did not export the file you made as an animated gif, it will only show the first frame since you lost the animation. Many programs require you to use the export as and not the save as function.

You also could upload your file to an upload/download site like SendSpace.com. Be sure to include the email notice to people you want to get the file.

You could try the Multimedia Fusion demo. It's a very powerful program, but the learning curve is a little steep. You can easily make games and such, using object-based programming. You can import all your cartoon files and create your animations. The only problem is you'll want to spend the money eventually, to get the full version - you'll get hooked ;) Good luck!!

You need a website, which means web hosting and a domain name. To do this for one shot is foolish. Convert it to an avi file (or play it and capture it to an avi file) and send them that.
