I trust you mean the educated idiots pushing global warming denial?
The vast majority of the world's scientists still agree that global warming is real and caused by us. So does the overwhelming majority of climatologists.
NOT ONE scientific organization has retracted its position.
NOT ONE world leader has retracted their support.
NOT ONE court has rescinded their decisions, which have supported global warming science, EVERY time.
Surely you're not calling all of the above people "educated idiots"?
In the world of serious professionals, the truth of man made global warming isn't controversial. A snowstorm didn't change it, nor does picking at tiny details in a vast body of science and data supporting global warming science. Only among those who (wrongly) think this isn't important to them, is the denialist propaganda at all successful.

Calling your opponents "idiots", or even worse, "itiots", really hurts your credibility.

No, let's follow the uneducated itiots [sic] who swallow the Big Oil party line.
Somehow, I feel more comfortable following those who earned a doctorate, rather than those who just patched one onto their handles.

Read more to get the full picture from both sides. Are you implying that even if they were correct that spending money to slow or reverse it would be wrong? We're not spending close to any amount of that money and I doubt the money being spend directly on it is above 10billion and probably in the realms of milliions In contrast what would you rather have them spend the money on?

Well in all fairness, you are sort of implying you're not educated so I won't bother correcting your grammar. It's not a lie by the way and who the heck said trillions? For these reasons, you NEED to be educated you see.

It'd be nice if it was a lie! But no they should'nt, and could'nt, and would'nt spend trillions on it! I'm not a treehugger, but you cannot ignore scientific evidence that says it's a truth! Is it bad and is it going to be so detrimental to society...who knows? It could turn out to be a good thing. But, it is also a good thing to green up the earth and stop polluting it; try to continually improve our existence for future generations.

Itiots, what a shiny piece of bait. I like it.

Why should I believe you when you say its a lie? What are your qualifications? What is your degree in?

EDIT @ Athazago - and you're obviously illiterate so (in a beautiful example of praeteritio) i won't point out that it was his spelling not his grammar that was incorrect - and that only because of a typo.
