Hamster Took a Fall!!?
I have a dwarf hamster who is about 8 months old.. so fully mature and my poor baby took a tumble off the table today. ik it was irresponsible to leave her there but i only looked away for a second and... plop.. there she was. the table is about two and half feet off the ground and i noticed after she fell that body seemed to be dented on that side nd she seemed a little more irritable. my question is whether you guys think she is ok or if im just being paranoid?? i cant handle her to find out if she's alrite as she likes to bite!! a lot! lol.

Your hamster should be fine! Just feed it extra treats and love it more! Also, If it fell on carpet it should be fine! But if it was on wood or tile it depends cause she could of hurt herself. If m parents where your parents they wouldnt take a hamster that cost 15 bucks to the vet. So if there appears to anything wrong with her bring her to the petstore or where ever you got her nd ask. But if there appears to be no limping or swelling or tenderness to any area then she should be Aok! Good luck!
And your a good owner!!! Dont feel bad we all learn from our mistakes!

Depends on where she fell and what she fell on. When I was taking my new hamster out of the box, she jumped out my hands 4 feet to the ground, and was unharmed because of the carpet floor. If she's walking limp, call a vet, but if she's fine, don't worry about it.

particular, hamsters can ruin bones. basically like us. you need to take your hamster to the vet. they'd grant a diet supplement, yet i'm not sure. (it would help with the therapeutic.) even though it is going to possibly no longer look well worth it to take your hamster to the vet, that's. in case you had a broken leg, you may bypass to the physician! Plus, it is going to possibly no longer value too plenty. desire this enables!

Hi, its best to take her to the vets for a check over and she might have injured herself. Also you should really start getting her used to you because if soemthing does happen you need to be able to handle her / check her over. Do this by offering them little bits of food at first and once they are comfortable with that put the food in the palm of your hand and let them walk onto it to eat, keep your hand really still. Once they are ok with that you can start to stroke them and get them used to you, just be gentle and dont rush it or you could do more harm than good. Instead of trying to pick them up I let them walk into thier ball and then let them walk out onto me, this way its less stress for them. I hope this helped

Ok im am very sorry to hear that. You should probably to take her to the vet to see if shes okay because she tiny and its easier for them to break there bones or get internal damage. Next time please be more responsible as to supervise her next time. Hope this helped.

if its carpet, then i would think that 2 and half feet wouldn't hurt her but if it was wood floor, then u should take her to see a vet
