How can I (as an adult) learn to do a handstand?

I've never learnt to do a handstand or a cartwheel but want to learn. What exercises or equippment would help me to learn them?

You need to be able to stay tight and keep the correct alignment. You can read tips and watch videos of how to do handstands and handstand drills here which will help you with that: http://aescougarcheer.com/Cheer101/tumblingHandstC...

Make sure you work with a spotter so that you don't fall and hurt your neck.

Good luck and have fun! :^D
