What happens if you don't eat for a very long time to lose weight?
Hey i was wondering what happens to you when u dont eat for a long time, i wanna lose some weight but its hard with the low stamina and all the energy my body takes to move my limbs with all my extra weight, so i was wondering of reducing that weight first then getting into action afterwards. I've been hearing that all we need to survive is water so the body feeds off fat for survival when you starve and satisfies hunger by burning calories stored in ur body (but only the Normal Fat, not the Structural and Abnormal Fats) So i learned that Normal fat is available to the body for fuel so what would happen other than that if i didn't eat? Would i gain a LOT more weight when i eat again? Whats the preferable amount of time to not eat if i weight around 200 lbs? What are things i should or should not do while doing this? Give me all the information u got on this sort of method. And don't suggest stuff like Acai Berries and HCG protocol as they are all GREAT but i can't get any because those idiots only take credit cards and paypal and i can't even get access to it anywhere in Ottawa... Thanks for the help in advance.
i do more than walking and walking dosen't have much of an effect on me... I need to lose weight fast and affordable (not as in money, but as in available in Ottawa) i guess i can't starve myself but when and what could i eat thats near starving to lost as much weight? Any ideas? Or do you know any special good cardio specific workouts i can follow?

Hi, Im going to speak to you from my own personal expierence,
at first it seems like a very awesome way to lose weight but honestly i regret ever trying to stop eating inorder to do so.
when you stop eating you will lose a few pounds but the thing i cant stress enough is the fact that you GAIN IT ALL BACK sooo fast. when you stop eating or eat very little your metabolism slows right down so when your trying to lose weight your body will not let you.
when you starve yourself (anything less that 1500 calories a day) your body thinks your going to continue so anythign you eat afterwards your body will store as fat bec you need the fuel for your body,
you get massive headaches, cramping, bloating, mood swings, hair becomes really frail and falls out easy, really tired, dry looking skin, really really cold all the time.
honestly if you want to lose weight there are other things to do. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HIT THE GYM TO LOSE THE WEIGHT.
a really good one that lets you lose weight fast is
-20 minutes a day just take a walk or instead of elevators and escalators take the stairs.
and my favorite is while watching tv, everytime a commercial comes on do situps, or jumping jacks till your show is back on. <-- you lose alot and it dosnt even feel like excersising,

Youll gain more weight the next time you eat, cause your stomach will ration your food to make
sure you have enough. It's obvious, just do sit ups and walk 20 minutes a day.

this is not a good idea because you may be able to live off of your fat and lose weight as soon as your done starving yourself and eat something you body will automatically store the food as fat because your body thinks it needs to save some energy in case you starve again which would automatically add the fat that you lost from starving yourself....theres no quick and easy way to lose weight youll have to count your calories and make sure your not getting to many also before you eat something you should read the calories and calories from fat on the nutrition guide...if its more than 15% fat i suggest you dont eat it...doing some cardio will also help lose weight faster

Walk in the evenings. Or eat small amounts more regularly during the day. Like eat 5 times a day, not full meals though.

Well after a certain amount of time your body will go into starvation mode and you will stop burning calories. And once you do eat again you will gain a good amount of weight back because your metabolism will be slower.
