What to wear in egypt in August?
I am going to Egypt on my honeymoon in August and was wondering what to wear (I am female) I have read on many sites that strappy vest tops and shorts are frowned upon. I am staying in sharm el sheik but would like to visit other destinations such as Cairo. I was considering buying a sarong which would be long enough to cover up legs / shoulders would this be acceptable. Also, I only own bakini's as swim wear (normal type) are these ok. I do not really want to buy a whole new wardrobe for two weeks holiday. Any advice would be extremely grateful.

in EGYPT< wear cotton day and nite
but take one warm jacket for the evenings
in Sharm , you are a tourist , so you can wear what you like
in Cairo or other cities , wear anything that doesnt expose too much of your bosom , above your knees , or attracts attention.
take comfortable footwear for the beach and walking

In Sharm you can wear what you like. On the beach you can wear your normal bikini as usual.
Only in Cairo or other crowded cities you should care specially if you'll visit religious places {Mosques - Churches } also it'll be very hot and humid in August and you should wear a comfortable shoes that can be suitable for different types of grounds.

well if ur staying in sharm el sheikh then u can wear watever u want cuz that is a tourist spot and all the ppl there wear shorts, bikinis, skirts, etc
however if ur going to cairo alex or any of those places i advise u NOT to wear shorts skirts tank tops, tube tops, because youll get some nasty comments from the guys. just wear capris and tshirts and ull be fine.

i would suggest that u try to buy a swimsuit that covers u up a little more but if u cant just wear a bikini and if u feel awkward like people are staring then bring an old shirt just in case to wear over your bikini and swim with. and the sarong idea is not bad you can get one that looks like these: http://www.alteredcloth.com/images/2007-05-14-saro...

Wear what GOD commands all women to wear. MODESTY can u imagine Jesus's female followers wearing shorts? Ever see an image of the Virgin Mary ? Always covered....ask yourself do u really want men and even women looking at your body? Where is your sense of shame?

particular, you are able to placed on it. basically whilst in case you are able to no longer placed on it once you bypass to non secular places, and that's not pronounced in very previous areas in the time of excursions. In Sharm El Sheikh you are able to relish some time and placed on regardless of you like and you will discover human beings from around the international taking part of their time too.
