Ribbons how to store, transport?
I do the ribbons for our dog club - the bane of my life. all are small rosettes Bulky as heck and a pain to store & transport unrumpled How do other dog & horse folks with this task manage them (DO NOT say keep in original shipment boxes - too bulky as club buys in quantity

wire coat hangers. 1 set per hanger makes it easy to award a class. and they hang without folds
plan b put the smaller ones in a zip lock gallon baggie. wind rain dust proof.
and my personal favorite, you need to be a little crafty. ply wood 4 foot by 2 foot ( that size fits in most cars easily and the back of most closets or under beds) cover the board with a layer of quilt batting then staple a layer of muslin over the top. Attach a 1 inch wide gross grain ribbon across the short side of the board. run stripes 4 inches apart . you can put a hinge on the top to attach two and make it self standing or put D rings on it to make it hang I usually get 60 ribbons to a board putting them so they just touch for standard size rosettes. you can adjust the ribbons for ones that are bigger or larger and cover the whole thing with a 55 gallon plastic trash bag

Have you tried hanging them from a regular wire coat hanger? Hook them on the bottom part, then hang the hanger whereever it's convenient. If you're transporting them yourself, you can put them in a drycleaner's bag and hang them in the back of the car. We usually put one class worth (one 1st, one 2nd, one 3rd, etc.) on a single hanger, then carry them into the ring that way. The tails stay unrumpled and the rosettes don't squish.
To ship, I'd pretty much do the same thing. Put them on a hanger, lay the hanger in a box. Next hanger full the other direction. Layer them. The hanger keeps them from moving around (especially if you pinch the metal piece on the back closed) which helps keep them pressed and nice. Plus lots of tissue paper.
You could also use that styrofoam stuff that's roll out like sheets. Hook the hangers on the back of the ribbons through the styrofoam to keep them in place, then fold the sheet over the bottom to hold the tails straight.
Just my thoughts.

Put the ribbons for each class in a clear bag. Add a few spares in another bag, put all in a box or case so they are laying flat and you only have to grab a bag to hand over for each class.

I would personally keep them in a tupperware box. lay them down carefully with tender loving care like they're your children who for some reason you're stuffing into a tupperware box! LOL.
:)
