The BBC has never been independent of private or governmental influence in just about anything. However, this is a particularly egregious conflict of interest.

Wow you guys are really starting to clutch at straws any company that employs many thousands of people and has a pension fund, is going to have investments in a wide range of different companies.

Funny the company your site mentions doesn't seem to be on the list there is everything from oil & tobacco to banking chemical even eBay & Walt Disney.
Given that several of the major investments are oil then the BBC's reporting on GW would be hurting that investment in the long run, so much for your argument.

The debate about global warming science is not in the media. It takes place in scientific journals. It doesn't matter how pretty scientists talk, the winner is the person with the best data.
So far, that's overwhelmingly the global warming scientists.
