finding the right dentist?
ok, i need a lot of work done on my teeth and cant really afford it. also, i get really freaked out and panic at the dentist office. the last dentist i went to got a lil frustrated with me for being so anxious and scared. he suggested i visit a dentist that will sedate me. i love the idea of sleeping thru this awful experience. i need to find a dentist that does that but will let me make payments since i cant afford to pay all at once. any suggestions??

Call around to find a general dentist that sedates patients. Referral to a specialist is NOT recommended as their focus is limited and probably cannot help you with the multiple needs you describe. Few dentists take payments anymore since too many patients neglect their payment agreements. I'm not saying that you are one of these people, but too many people before you have screwed up their finances. Anyways, apply for CareCredit and find a sedation dentist that accepts it. You can make payments to CareCredit and get your work done.

The dentist that you went to before should have referred you to a specialist. Most insurances will cover these referrals, and if you don't have insurance there are some who will let you pay monthly you'll just have to call around and ask.
