My mom is in hospital battling cancer and she is weak and depressed. I live 4 hours away from her and with my 3 children in school, it is difficult for me to get down to visit her as often as i would like. it breaks my heart that i cannot be with her to help and support her through all of this. my mom is the most amazing person ive ever met. she has always been sooooo strong and so seeing her so weak, is very hard. i am making a slide show for her of my kids, myself and my fiance. i just want to show her that even though we cant physically be there all the time, that there isn't a second that goes by that we aren't praying and thinking about her. i need to find a song for the slide show that is encouraging and that will help cheer her up. help please?

my daughter has become obsessed with a time management game called cooking dash. i cant afford to buy the game and the site she played it on only let her play for a 60min trial. does anyone know if there is a site she can play it on for free with unlimited time?

ok, i need a lot of work done on my teeth and cant really afford it. also, i get really freaked out and panic at the dentist office. the last dentist i went to got a lil frustrated with me for being so anxious and scared. he suggested i visit a dentist that will sedate me. i love the idea of sleeping thru this awful experience. i need to find a dentist that does that but will let me make payments since i cant afford to pay all at once. any suggestions??

does anyone know a place in mississauga where i can get my male cat fixed for a decent price. normally i am not a cat person but got one for my 3 kids and fell in love with him. he has been spraying and stinking up my apartment. i don't wanna get rid of him, but also don't want my place to stink or send my kids to school smelling like that. i need to find somewhere that is affordable otherwise i will have to find him a new home. my kids (and i) would be heart broken. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

My daughter is 4 almost 5. I (stupidly) decided to not send her to junior kindergarten last year and now my decision is kicking my butt a little bit. Now she is in senior kindergarten and all the kids in her class went to JK so she is behind. She is really struggling with learning to read. The teacher asked me to try and focus on her learning to spell her name (madison) and she is having a hard time catching on. I tried the suggestions the teacher gave me to help her with and its not working. I ask her what letter makes a "mmmmm"sound and she names some random letter that isn't close to m. Her older sister (9) didn't attend jk either, but she caught on so easily. She has always been a fast learner. She was speaking perfect sentences at 18months. I guess because she did so well, I assumed Madison would as well. I was wrong. Can anyone give me any suggestions or web sites that may help me out? thanks!!!

ok...I have never tried the online dating crap til recently so i don't know much about it. I am extremely nervous. I met a guy who seems amazing, but i am nervous because i have heard a lot stories about this kind of thing where the person always seems amazing and then turns out to be a psychopath. i been talking 2 this guy for 3 days and he is already calling me baby and wanting 2 jump on plane 2 meet me. OK....extremely embarassing situation and a bit of a long story. For many, many years I stupidly neglected my teeth. I suffered from depression and to be honest, I didn't give a rats *** about my teeth and am really screwed now. I let most of my back teeth rot away. So now I cannot eat anything even slightly crispy or crunchy. For years I wouldnt step into a dentist office because I was too embarassed that I let my teeth get to this point. I know this is 100% my fault and in no way am I expecting to have someone baby me and say its not your fault, because I know that it would be bullsh**. So, today I swallowed my effing pride and went into a dentists office.looking for help and came out crying. The dentist made me feel like I was disgusting and not worth civil behaviour. Again, I was not there to hear, poor baby its not your fault, but I was hoping to be treated with respect. I went in there and told him I know that everything wrong with my teeth was my fault and I take full responsibility of it. I screwed up and now want to fix it and move on. What I wanted was for him to check out my teeth and tell me how I can make things better and he just didnt think I was worth his time. The worst thing for me about all this, I think, was breaking down in that damn dentist chair and crying.

Since I dont have a lot of money, a friend suggested to me that I go to university of toronto and it wouldnt be as expensive. My sister informed me though that they will not do anything for me because it would be too much work. Can anyone please suggest something I could do? Thanks!
