creative crafts to sell?

Are you currently very, very good at any crafts? Do people request that you make them a scarf or a nightshirt or something as a gift? If the answer is no, then you probably are not good enough to sell your crafts. You are competing against people in Asia who are working for a couple of bucks a day, churning out crafts. You have to be VERY good in order to make something as well as your competitor, who does this for 10 or 12 hours a day. The person who does this as a job will also be using materials bought at wholesale prices, rather than retail.
I'm an excellent tailor. People ask me to make them shirts and pants and skirts all the time. However, I can't really make money at this, because even though I'm fairly quick for an amateur, I can't churn out garments that quickly. What's more, I don't want to spend eight or ten hours a day just sewing. Even if I could buy wholesale supplies, and even if I was willing to spend that much time on sewing, the garments that I produced would have to sell for two or three times what an equivalent garment would cost in a retail store. The only way I could make money would be as a custom tailor.
Now, IF you're good enough, you can make custom items. But you've got to be good enough in the first place. And people have to want what you have to sell. If you take up a hobby, thinking that it will start paying for itself, you're in for a disappointment. For most crafts, you have to spend a lot of time and money to get good enough at producing the craft to be able to sell it.

Depends on what kind of talent you have.
If you're good at sewing, you can do some custom embroidery - like personalized towels, personalized hats, personalized scarves, embroidered patches, etc. etc.
If you're good with graphics design, you can make logos or graphics for iron-on t-shirt transfers or silk screen, make custom images for websites, etc. etc.
If you're good at woodworking, you can make custom plaques, custom enclosures for lego sets, enclosures for reptile pets, etc. etc.
There are tons of things you can do but you have to be good at it to be able to produce something that is worth buying...
