how much does it cost to count a person?
the census want to spend $15 billion,does it really cost that much to count a person?
that works out to about 45 dollars a person,that is a steep prce
toothless,obviously maybe brainless to think that it is legitimate to spend that much for useless statistics

It depends.
If ACORN does the counting, Rest assured that the democrats will be counted much more efficiently and abundently than Republicans! LOL!
Isn't it funny how Obama would not dare turn over any government job to a private enterprise, except the Census to ACORN! (just a backdoor trick to sneak-fund ACORN)
But Really, we are around 310 million, so that works out to a little less than 50 bucks a head. Proof Positive that the Government is incapable of doing ANYTHING efficiently!

They pay a lot to get people to do this census thing here about 18 -20 an hour so I can believe it will cost this much

Hey, it cost $24,000* per extra car sold for cash for clunkers, so why not?

$15 billion divided by approximately 310 million = $48.39 per person. Not that expensive when you think about what it takes to send workers out to find people.

Yes, you can't count by 2's for 300.2 million people
