I agree that public opinion has gone against Obama in the last few months. The blame is usually put on health care reform, cap and trade, the stimulus, and unemployment. More than particular issues, there are certain dynamics that explain it. First, I think the administration appeared to stay out of some of the discussions in congress. So some issues look more like congressional initiatives than the president's. People were expecting more direction from the president. Congress and Pelosi are easier to dislike. Those opposing Obama say he should focus on the economy before going into other things. Nothing has come back from the administration and its supporters pointing out that the first things that happened when Obama came to office were the stimulus package and other steps to shore up the economy. At the time (1 yr ago) Obama said it would take two years. So far the stimulus has saved or created somewhere between 1.7 and 2.0 million jobs, depending on who you listen too. GDP is growing. Job loss has stopped. Construction is starting turn up. Housing prices have stabilized. Housing sales increased. There seems to be progress against the Taliban. Overall things are improving at a pace that should be expected. I think many people think things should be improving more quickly and that contributes to the negativity.

This is really very good. Like the format, and the Humor. However you point is

what matters, and you could not be more correct. We are at best, Weak and

very vulnerable economically. We are moderately prepared Militarily, And as

a Nation we are the most deeply divided as a people in the History of our country.

Call it what you will. The only common thread to all of the problems is Barack

Obama. He is the Capt of this sinking ship. Do you hear him commanding save

the Children first, No, He is to busy loading their lives up with debt, to cover his

bullshit inexperience and experimentation.

We are very close to civil disorder in this Nation. Obama will be the cause of it.

Come Nov. We must without fail. Take complete control of both houses of congress.

Immediately upon doing that, Begin Impeachment hearings and proceedings against

this man. He must be removed legally from office.

373 Filibusters, 58 bills held up in Republican committees, $100B Stimulus stolen by Republican Gov. to balance their own over the top State budgets. A Budget passed that Weepy announced had 98% of what the GOP wanted. All the while telling the world that is all Presidentt Obamas fault. The last Depression took 13 years to recover from, with both parties working together to help Americans. In my opinion, the GOP are traitors to America.

His administration started out more along the lines of "The Good Ship Lollipop" which had passengers who believed they were on an exciting and historic voyage of real hope and change. It's a vessel lacking serious ballast, has empty holds, a captain who has no navigation equipment or training and, a crew of incompetents who failed basic seamanship. It's called a fantasy cruise and if an unscrupulous telemarketer tried to sell you passage, you would steer clear.
